Our fees for soil/sediment analyses are as follows:

Sieve Analysis (sand fraction) $2.25/sieve

Particle size (sand, silt, clay) $18.00/spl

Organic Matter $10.00/spl

Phosphate $9.50/spl

pH $2.75/spl

Carbonate $10.50/spl

We are often asked what volume is needed to conduct soil/sediment analyses. The following table provides some guidelines for these questions:

Particle Size (sand, silt, clay ) - minimum of 50 grams, 75-100 grams preferred

Sand fraction analysis (sieve) - 150 grams

Percent carbonate - 10 grams

Percent organic matter - 7 grams

pH - 30 grams

Total volume needed for all analyses - approximately 250 grams
